Before joining Alternative Fund Advisors, Rafi was vice president of finance at Fiera Capital Inc. During his time at Fiera, Rafi played a key role in the integration of several acquisitions and the implementation of core strategic initiatives. In addition to his corporate finance responsibilities, Rafi was head of fund accounting and served as principal accounting officer of Fiera’s 40 Act mutual fund platform.
Prior to Fiera Capital Inc., Rafi served as chief financial officer of Larch Lane Advisors, an alternative asset management company specializing in hedge funds, hedge fund seeding, and 40 Act mutual funds. Rafi started his career at Larch Lane and, in the subsequent 10+ years, helped grow the business to over $1BN in AUM.
Rafi holds a BS in finance and accounting from New York University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
