With over 20 years of industry experience, John focuses on business development and relationship management for the firm.

Before joining Alternative Fund Advisors, John was an executive director at AQR Capital Management, LLC. He joined AQR in 2010 to lead business development and client relations in the northeastern US wealth management community. Over a 10-year period, John built deep relationships with multi-family offices, registered investment advisors, and bank trust departments. He contributed to AQR’s extraordinary growth by helping the firm expand its product lineup and educating financial professionals about quantitative finance, alternative strategies, and factor-based investing.  

Prior to AQR, John was a vice president at Natixis Asset Management, leading business development and client relations for wealth advisory firms and family offices on the west coast. John began his career at Liberty Funds, now known as Columbia Threadneedle.  

John has a BA from Salve Regina University.
